The Luxury Conversation and Reuter: Intelligence – the research division of Reuter Communications – are set to publish a new China Insight Report: The New Face of Beauty in China, with the insights and takeaways unveiled in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Key takeaways vital for beauty brands in China

The report uncovers key findings vital for beauty brands to find success in what’s known as the biggest beauty market in the world, from browsing behaviours and purchasing preferences of Chinese beauty consumers across key areas such as retail, e-commerce, niche, social media & influencers.

Reuter: Intelligence performed qualitative focus group discussions, smartphone-enabled ethnographies, big data analytics, and a quantitative online survey of over 300 consumers across first-tier cities Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. All participants were recruited from Reuter: Intelligence’s proprietary database of luxury consumers in China, with analytics partner ColourData conducting big data analyses.

The Luxury Conversation will hold invitation-only breakfast briefings in Shanghai and Hong Kong, on May the 15th and 22nd respectively, unveiling the findings of the report and discussing insights with expert guest speakers.
