The report uncovers key findings vital for beauty brands to find success in what’s known as the biggest beauty market in the world, from browsing behaviours and purchasing preferences of Chinese beauty consumers across key areas such as retail, e-commerce, niche, social media & influencers.
Reuter: Intelligence performed qualitative focus group discussions, smartphone-enabled ethnographies, big data analytics, and a quantitative online survey of over 300 consumers across first-tier cities Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. All participants were recruited from Reuter: Intelligence’s proprietary database of luxury consumers in China, with analytics partner ColourData conducting big data analyses.
