China’s consumption continues to rise in performance

China’s consumption will perform better in the second and third quarters and will have stronger economic growth, according to industry experts. Retail sales of consumer goods — a major gauge of consumption — rose 18.4 per cent year-on-year to 3.49 trillion yuan ($501 billion) in April and expanded by 7.8 percentage points from the level in March, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on May 23rd.

 

China sees more foreign-invested firms established in 2023Q1

The number of new foreign-invested companies in China posted steady expansion in the first quarter (Q1) of the year as the recovery of cross-border business activities has picked up pace, the State Administration of Market Regulation said on May 26.

ASICS is heading to Xi’an to build a digital space called “ASICS LAND” in partnership with fashion brand HONOR23. The virtual world will recreate iconic buildings in the ancient city of Xi’an, infused with historical significance. ASICS’ latest city-exclusive shoe, the GEL-SPOTLYTE LOW V2 “Qin Terracotta Warriors,” draws inspiration from the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.
